Introduction

A group of devices that are connected to each other have a simple purpose for connecting & sharing resources and data. 

For example:A home Wi-Fi network in a house Wi-Fi router helps multiple devices (phone, laptop, TV).

Why is Networking important?

Enable communication: Networks act as a bridge between users and devices to communicate instantly through messaging applications, emails, and Zoom meetings. Nowadays, it's widely used in modern businesses.

Sharing resources: Networking helps to enable multiple users to share their resources such as applications, storage devices, printers, etc. It reduces cost and also improves efficiency. 

Improve security: Multiple tools could be implement by network administrators, for ex firewalls, encryption, access control, and monitoring tools to protect users' sensitive information from cyber threats. 


Real-world application used for: 

Computer networks enable seamless communication and the exchange of data between multiple devices.
